Agency longtime advocate for youths – Houston Chronicle

When Child Advocates of Fort Bend was established 20 years ago, it had one volunteer and one client.

Since then, the nonprofit organization has served 10,500 children, including 1,400 in 2011. Each was a victim of sexual abuse, physical abuse or neglect.
