Wisconsin CASA receives $15,000 grant from D.O.J. – WQOW TV

The Wisconsin Department of Justice, Office of Crime Victim Services has awarded the Wisconsin Court Appointed Special Advocate Association (WI CASA) a grant in the amount of $15,000 to be used to fund the development of a Standards and Practice Manual. This award is made possible through a grant from the Wisconsin Children’s Justice Act (CJA) Program.

Aaron Ruben dies at 95; Andy Griffith’ producer was an advocate for needy children – Nation – TheState.com

Ruben, who devoted much of his later life to being a court-appointed advocate for abused and abandoned children, died Saturday of complications from pneumonia at his home in Beverly Hills, said his son Tom.
